Important Warnings and Safety Notes for Hobbymate D6 Duo Pro Charger during Charing Process
1. Lipo battery is a potential danger during charging. Do not use the charger in an unattended manner, in case of any functional abnormity， please stop using it and refer to the manual.
2. Keep the charger away from dust, humidity, rain and high temperature, as well as avoid direct exposure to sun and intense vibration.
3. Make sure input voltage for D6 is DC 6.5-30v, we recommend at least 12V to power the charger for a reliable use.
4. Please place the charger on a heat-resisting, non-flammable and insulating surface. Do not use it by placing it on the car’s seats, carpet or other similar place. Keep inflammable and explosive objects away from operation areas of the charger.
5. Make sure the heat emission hole at the bottom of the charger is uncovered while in use， and ensure the cooling fan smoothly extracts heat.
6. Please fully understand the charging and discharging characteristics as well as the battery’s specifications. Additionally, set up proper charging parameters in the charger. Incorrect setting of parameters can cause damage to the charger and battery and / or result to disastrous consequences such as fire or explosion.

Avoid doing business with HOBBYMATE at all costs!

DO NOT BUY from HOBBYMATE. Buy a HOTA D6+ charger from any other US vendor instead. Pins on one balance port were misaligned on arrival. To get a refund, they want me to ship it all the way back to China. USPS quoted $44 USD, for a $120 product.

Scratched screen

I received my charger in a unsealed box , with no protective screen film and the display screen was scratched . I believe it may have been a used or return unit. When I reported this issue to Hobbymate, they made a small compensation offer of $10. Not Happy.

D6 Duo Pro Charger

1. This is an excellent RC Battery charger. Capacity, ease of use, display are excellent.
2. Prospective customers need to be aware of possible connector mis-match with their batteries. The charger uses XT60 connectors. Many batteries have EC3 or IC3 connectors, which are not compatible with the D6. It would be helpful if Hobbymate included, as an option, adaptor cables.
3. Hobbymate is not based in the US. Delivery times are stated as 20 or more days. US customers need to decide if these delivery delays are OK. Telephone conversations may not be practical due to their location.
4. Hobbymate Customer Service is very helpful and supports refunding purchases, if necessary.
